Susannah Margison is a medical malpractice defence lawyer whose practice focuses on medical malpractice litigation on behalf of health professionals, hospitals and nursing homes. Susannah received an honours baccalaureate in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa and went on to attend the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University where she specialized in Health Law and Policy. She was called to the bar in 2012. Susannah has been a community member of the SFHT Board since 2018 and she is the chair of the Risk Management Subcommittee. In 2021, Susannah founded Susannah Margison Coaching, a service which specializes in executive, life and negotiation coaching.
Susanne has built her career in Human Resources over the past 30 years, having worked in a variety of industries that include manufacturing, construction management and professional services. She currently works as Director, Legal Support Services with McCarthy Tétrault.
Susanne completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Windsor, Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto and achieved the Adler Trained Coach designation from the Adler School of Professional Coaching. A passionate and curious business leader, Susanne has significant experience building talented and effective teams, improving processes and strengthening businesses for the long term. She is an effective collaborator who thrives on strategizing with others to elevate people and businesses.
Susanne is proud to say that she has been a member of the Summerville Family Health Team community for many years as a patient and is thrilled to be able to contribute to its ongoing success as a community board member.Dr. Angela Lalla is a family physician who has been practicing at the Etobicoke site of Summerville Family Health Team since 2014. She completed medical school at the University of Ottawa and her family medicine training at McMaster University. She is a Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and teaches clerks and family medicine residents. Dr. Lalla is in her fifth year on the Board of Directors, and was previously Vice-Chair for three years.
Dr. Meharchand brings a 30 plus year history of Primary Care as well as Emergency Room experience to The Board. He has served on the Medical Advisory Committee of Trillium Health Partners and was a valued Board member at Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children.
Dr. Vincent Park is a family physician with the Trillium-Summerville Family Team at Central Site. He is one of the founding members of the Summerville Family Health Team that was formed in 2007. Dr. Park is in his third year on the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the IM committee at the Summerville Family Health Team. Academically, he is on faculty with the University of Toronto as an adjunct lecturer, involved in clinical teaching of third year medical students.
Dr. Amy Reinhart is a family physician who has been practicing at the Harborn site of the Summerville Family Health Team since 2019. She completed medical school at Western University and her family medicine training at the Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit site of the University of Toronto. She is a Clinician Teacher with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and teaches clerks and family medicine residents. She participates as an examiner for the College of Family Physicians of Canada in its certification of new family physicians. She is also an active member of Summerville's Quality Improvement Committee. Dr. Reinhart is in her first year on the Board of Directors.
Dr. Monica Sethi is a Family Physician who has been practicing and teaching residents and clerks at the Trillium-Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit since 2011. She practices comprehensive family medicine as well as low risk obstetrics and newborn care. She completed her Family Medicine residency and Low-Risk Obstetrics fellowship at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Sethi is a Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She also teaches students at the Mississauga Academy of Medicine. This is her first year on the Board of Directors.
Dr. Carlo Cifelli is a family physician who has been practicing at the Etobicoke site of the Summerville Family Health Team since 2016. He completed medical school at the University of Toronto and his family medicine training at the Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit site of the University of Toronto. He is a Clinician Teacher with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and teaches clerks and family medicine residents. Dr. Cifelli is in his first year as the Lead Physician of Summerville Family Health Team and on the Board of Directors.
Andrea Stevens, MBA, has been the Executive Director of Summerville Family Health Team since June 2018. Throughout her career, she has held senior management positions in the health and non-profit sectors, including 7 years as Vice President at the Ontario Lung Association, 2 years as the inaugural Executive Director of the Etobicoke Medical Centre Family Health Team, and more than 25 years at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. In addition, she has done private consulting for the Government of Ontario, Health Canada, the Canadian Mental Health Commission, the University of Toronto and other organizations specializing in mental health promotion, substance use prevention, and management. She has co-authored several publications and is a member of CIHR’s College of Reviewers.
