Group workshop facilitated by social workers to support tool building to help persons manage and recognize unhelpful thinking patterns. Participants are introduced to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, uncertainty recognition, worry and avoidance coping, improving problem solving skills and managing relapse.
Suitable for: individuals over 18 with mild to moderate anxiety.
Frequency: 3 times a year (fall, winter, spring). Sessions are 1.5 hours.
Fall 2024 sessions begin November 7, running weekly for six weeks.
